Farmer's Market

It was kind of a perfect Sunday today.

We started the morning with a nice run. It was cool and quiet on the running trails today. We didn't push ourselves to hard and so we were able to chat a bit as we went. I don't know what it is about running for us but we often have some great conversations. I think it clears our head. Oh and maybe the rush of endorphins helps too.

We got back and decided to go to our local Farmer's Market. I have wanted to do this FOREVER and for whatever reason we hadn't made it over there. We have the cutest little town center in our city and it's the best place for a market.

We decided to take our dog Ruby. We thought walking around a lot of people would be good practice for our trip at the end of the month to Carmel. We walked around this little lake in the middle thinking we could "calm" her down and then preceded to make it through the market. Well, after the third unsuspecting child got a BIG wet kiss and my husbands arm was about to break off, we decided to divide and conquer. Meaning John would take Ruby away from the crowd while I shopped :)

There was tons of fresh produce, all local growers, and plenty of happy people. I love Farmer's Markets. We ended the outing by munching on some cherries and pluots and just sat and enjoyed the beautiful day :)

Haaaapppy Sunday!
